Position: Engineer (Ruby on Rails)
Registria is looking for a talented Engineer who has a track record developing and maintaining scalable and high performance commercial web applications using Ruby on Rails. The successful candidate should have experience in the design and development of a full software project life cycle. You should be familiar with agile methods and be able to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced, high-energy environment. We’re looking for a well-rounded developer who is passionate about creating great products to join our team.
Requirements- 2+ years of experience in developing high-scale web applications (eCommerce preferred)
- 2+ different applications
- Full-stack Rails development with Ruby 1.8.7 and 1.9.x
- Experience with developing for Rack interface
- Solid expertise using JavaScript and jQuery framework
- Understand modern web standards, browser compatibility and web development best practices
- Familiarity with git or another distributed version control system
- Experience using Linux/Unix command line
- Experience developing applications using MySQL as a database
- Experience with a document database like Couchdb or MongoDB is a plus
- Good understanding of web application security and secure coding practices
- Ability to work in a very fast-paced startup environment
- Good communications and collaboration skills
- Fluent in English language
- Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Preference given to candidates with experience in these additional technologies/frameworks: delayed_jobs, sinatra, activemerchant, jquery-ui, couchdb, memcached, i18n
Position: Senior Technical Operations and Account Manager
Requirements- Minimum 8 years of experience in Web Application or IT Support with proven ability to support customers with diverse requirements
- Previous administration/development experience with applications such as Salesforce.com, Oracle, RightNow or experience in CRM or related industry
- Excellent project management skills with ability to juggle multiple projects/tasks across various user groups
- Demonstrated technical aptitude for, and experience supporting, client-server and/or web-based applications and SaaS solutions
- Understanding of business processes and ability to translate business requirements into application functionality
- Strong team player with service-oriented attitude and customer focus
- Must be a go-getter who thrives on working in an extremely fast-paced environment
- Experience with enterprise integration tools and APIs
- Some Experience developing HTML, CSS, Javascript, SQL, XML. Experience with Ruby language is a plus.
- Some prior experience with SOX or PCI
- Fluent in English language
- Degree in systems engineering, computer science or equivalent experience
